VICTIM IMPACT STATEMENT

Your Honour ,

My baby killed herself because of those girls.  So I think these girls should have 25 years to life in jail because the where threatening beat her up and calling her offensive words; those words lead her in to suicide.  Your Honour can you see yourself going home one day and finding out your son found your daughter hanging in her room from your dog leash in her closet? The pain of her death plus your son finding her is one of the worst feelings in the world. I wish I died at the time.

 Before I read the suicide note I thought it was all my fault but as soon as I read it I was so a full of feelings I didn’t know what to do.  The note said that she had been threatened by bullies and she believed death was her only escape.  My son feels like it all his fault every night I keep on telling him it’s not his fault.  My daughter was only 14 years old and she had a whole life ahead.  All this because of 3 girls bullying, who thought all this could come from bullying?

  MY daughter had big plans. She could have been a Doctor a CEO or anything else she wanted to be. She didn’t even reach university.  I can remember just the day before she was happy and running with her brother I had no idea she was thinking about suicide.  I can’t even think about what my son is thinking. He had to take some time off from school and everything else.  Everywhere I go I think of her.  When I pass by her room and when I see her shoes and whenever I see anything else that is hers.

 I wish I can go back to the days she was alive. I feel like I’m in a bad dream I wish I can wake up from but it’s all real. Sometimes when I’m walking, I just start crying.  I can’t even walk when I talk about it like now.  I wonder how you would feel your honor if your most valuable thing was taken from you and you couldn’t do anything about it?  I would do anything to be with her right now or for her to be with me. That is my biggest dream just to have my family all back as it was. I think that if these girls do not get 25 years to life that they should get a severe punishment.  I could never go through the same experience again.  I wonder how those girls feel about what they did to my baby?  I just hope those girls learn from their mistakes but bulling is never tolerated so hope those girls never bully again.  She was the only girl I had. So when she passed it changed my life emotionally and physically and spiritually and mentally. This tragedy has impacted my life more than anything has ever.  I wonder what they gained from bullying my baby girl. I’ll tell you they gained nothing.  I remember when she was a baby;  she grew up so fast. And then she was taken away form me I can even wake up from bed because I wish this was all a big bad dream! All I want is justice!

Conclusion

·         What did you notice while using each ingredient?  I noticed that the salt is the strongest and that sugar is the weakest. This can be wrong because in science you must repeat the lab over and over again. I made a mistake on the salt i forgot to stir so I added to much.

·         Why do you think this occurred (use scientific language)?  I think this occurred because the water became more denser then the egg, ex: the dead sea.  So because of the ingredients the water became more denser then the egg.

·         Did everything go well during the lab? If no, what would you change next time?

 

Progress Reports Reflection

1. What do you think of your progress report?  What are you happy with?  Why are you not happy with?     I think I did OK but I know there is room for improvement. Over all I think I did a good job.  My parents think I can do a better job so I will do a better job. I am happy with my math and every other subject except for L.A. I need to improve in it.
2. What can you do during term 2 in order to improve your progress report?  To improve my marks  I will spend more time on studying and spend less on video games and TV.

How would you answer to the question "Who are you"?
When someone asks me who am I. I am a 14 year old boy, tall, blue eyed, blond hair. I am like an Aryan except I'm not German. I am an active person. I like basketball, soccer, football, boxing, swimming, snowboarding, motorbiking. Sometimes I play my xbox 360  so I can say I game out. I am a smart person. I do good in school. I am an energetic person. I like brand names like Nike, element and valcom.

When you form impression or opinions about people you first meet, what kinds of thing do you consider: their looks, clothing,where they are,what they are doing,atc?

I look at their face expressions and if they are quiet or active. If they are quiet that means that they are shy and don't like to share very much. If they are active, moving around that means they are a sports person. The second thing I notice is their clothing, if they have sport logos that means they are a sports person too. At last I look at their attitude. If they are showing off, that means they don't respect anyone and they might be a bully. If they are kind and friendly that means they respect others and themselves.

Daniel`s Mother

I have learned many things this year about the Holocaust in school.  Daniel story is one of the best books I ever read.  Daniel`s story it talks about a boy who lived during the Holocaust and all the thing that really happened in the holocaust. I leaned if we do not learn about the past it will repeat it self so that is why i am writing this as if Daniels mother is still alive so i could ask her all the million of questions that are going though my mind. If  Daniel's  Mother was  still alive, I would ask her how she feels around Germans. I would ask her this because if I was her I would never be able to stand near a German ever again. how did she feel when her family was separated from her. The reason I would ask this question is because if I was separated from my family I would lose my heart ever.  Would you ever live in Germany again I would ask her. I would ask her this question because I could never live in Germany after all of that death of family and  friends. I would ask Daniels mother how did she live all these years living in the ghettos the camps with out any medicine or help from some one. I would ask Daniels mother this because at the end of the holocaust there were not many people who made it alive and the ones who made it alive die soon after ward because of all the diseases. The last and most important question is how did it feel to be free called your name not a number being able to go to a park a store and any were in public. I ask this question because if i was in a camp for that long of a time and made it to the end and had freedom I would thank good and go home and  walk around Germany and see hoe much the people and the place changed just because I'm a JEW.

In chapter 5, Daniel's father said that the radio was really important to the family. He said that it gave them hope and...
"Hope was more important than bread."
What did he mean? Do you agree or disagree with this statement?


In Daniel`s Story I agree with the Dad that hope is more important then food. One reason is  with out hope  you can not get anything or any where. because if hope is with you can succeed  in many things in life. hope can help you go throw tough times. hope is important in many thinks such as religion and faith . hope is very important to many people.  so keep hope and you will succeed.

Video games good or bad or both ill tell you my opinions.  Both ill tell you why because it can make you relaxed after a hard day of work it comes you and you mind. It is good because all work and no play makes you grumpy.  They can be bad if used to much your kids can get addicted they wont stop playing it till you make them stop. games can be a bad influence on your child because they can lean bad word and other bad stuff like about drug and so on.

Literacy Day

Literacy is very important because in life everywhere you go you need to know how to read and write. It is a very important skill without literacy you wont get anywhere because no one wants to hire a person who cant read or right. So your going to need to find a job so your going to get into drugs and bad stuff and end up in jail. literacy is a key to life everywhere you go you have to read.  you have to read to order food  you have to read if you wont to build something. if you know literacy it well help you in your life for a long time in middle school high school university and in your job it can help you succeed in the best of the best jobs like ex: going in to law being a teacher a CEO of a big company or a part of the Canadian Government.               LITERACY IS VERY IMPORTANT IN LIFE
